M&M's

My roommate Emily got this GIANT 38 oz. party size bag of Peanut Butter M&M's, I believe from Kelsie. We have been working on eating this dang bag for a good two to three weeks now and it's still not gone! Anyway, every time I eat them, it reminds me of the M&M's commercial that was on during the SuperBowl. My entire family was laughing SO hard! So just in case you missed it... here it is!

Until Next Time, "Ms Green - - the first female M & M character - - was born in 1997." She's also my favorite one because she is sassy!

Good Friends :)

Ok, I had to write a post about my adventures yesterday! School was the usual, Psych then lab and then home for a FOUR HOUR NAP! Oops... didn't mean to sleep that long! When I woke up, I ate some food and got ready for the last basketball game of the season :( It was senior night so all the the seniors were recognized at half time. This was the turnout for the last game, and quite frankly, I was shocked!

Yep, that's a lot of people!

Also, I had to share this creeper picture that Christina took of me while singing the Scotsman! She posted it on her blog and when I saw it I just started laughing!! So yes, I had to share it :)

After the game, Cait, Kels and I went back to Kels' apartment and just kind of sat around and talked because we were so exhausted. I walked back down the hall with Cait because Grandma was there to pick her up and on the way we ran into Andrew, Sam and Sam's two cousins, Ben and Matt. They are both RM's and they got back from their missions about three weeks ago. So I said bye to Cait and started chatting with the boys. Katelin Allen came upstairs around then and asked if we wanted to do something... so much for going to bed, right? So we all made our way down to 201 and decided to play mafia. We had SO many people in one tiny room! There was Scott, Logan Lizz, myself, Kolson, Katelin, Andrew, Ben, Sam, Taylor, Matt, Justin, Jake and Kate. We played six rounds and the first five I was a police man! Lucky me! After playing mafia, Ben and Matt showed us a cool way to flick cards and make them go really far. Naturally, we all had to try!
Jerremie, Josh and Jamal came up then and asked if we wanted to go play ugly with them. Seriously... the BIGGEST game of ugly I have ever seen! I am used to play with four or five other people not 15-16! So we played a good four or five rounds of that and then the crowd started to dwindle. We sat around and chatted for awhile until it was just me, Kate, Tay and Ben left. We stayed in the lounge until five o'freaking clock in the morning! I think that is my latest night at this University! We decided to call it a night at five since Taylor had a meeting at ten this morning!

But the whole point of this post is to tell all my 2nd floor friends how great you all are! :) Last night was so fun and I appreciate all of you so much! Thanks for all the fun!

Until next time, "Sometimes I stay up so late that I have my morning coffee before I go to bed."

Charlie!

Just a quick post for you! In my Psych 1410 Lab, we are assigned lab rats to shape a behavior for. So basically, we have to teach a rat to do something be reinforcing appropriate behavior by feeding him. My partners, Courtney and Mary, named our little guy Charlie! He is possibly the cutest little thing ever!

In My Defense :)

I am terribly sorry if any of you read Taija Applegate's post about being Facebook and Cell phone blocked. Yes, it is about me and yes, it says my name right in the text. My comment on her Facebook post said EXACTLY this, "Nope, I can't! Because I am a good daughter and I am going to church with my mother so she doesn't have to sit alone." How the heck does that translate into "You are a bad daughter and a terrible person for not being LDS" Here is just some of her post if you care to read. I warn about the content though, there are some choice words used here:

"then the stupid bitch has the nerve to send me a text judging my character and throwing previous actions in my face...." Which did happen because her text message said "Grow some balls and tell me what you really think... So I did :)
"If you have something to say grow up and say it to me, instead of saying it to Facebook, where i'm clearly unable to defend myself due to the fact that you deleted me,and your blog..."  I tried talking to her about it on Facebook before this whole thing blew up but she is too stubborn to see that. I also tried calling her, but she wouldn't answer her phone. Yes, I did delete her from Facebook and block her messages because she was saying mean things that I didn't care to read. But no honey, I didn't delete my blog :) I would never do that.
"I listen to their problems and am not judgemental nor do I shove religion down their throat..."  I've never talked about religion with Taija in my ENTIRE life, so nice try
"I definitely know that you're the more dramatic one considering all the drama you've ever started in school, through the internet, and through out mutual friends...." Give me one example! What have I started?

"People have sex, it doesn't make them a bad person. And in case you were wondering, in the past two years I've only had sex with three people. So I doubt that makes me a whore..." I never once said someone was bad for having sex?

"But I hope you having accomplished being a pathetic, two-faced, drama causing, unable to face her own problems so has to delete my number bitch, completes your life. Go pray because you definitely need to repent :)..." 1. I didn't delete your number honey, I still have it and have been trying to call you. You,however, will not pick up your phone. 2. I pray day and night, but thanks for the reminder! 3. Aren't you being the same right now? Two-faced because just the day before all this happened we were hanging out? Pathetic for not letting this go that same night it happened. Drama causing because you're in high school? Why do I care what you say to other people in the school about this whole thing? I'm done there! Unable to face your problems because you won't answer the phone.

So this is my defense because feels like she needs to bash on me on every social network site instead of answering the phone so we can talk this out like rational adults. Whatever, this way works too.

VENTING LETTER

So.... when people really piss me off, I write venting letters. I get on to Microsoft Word and type every mean thing that I am thinking about at that very moment in time. Sometimes it's about the person who ticked me off, sometimes it's about something they are associated with and sometimes it has nothing to do with them and I am just in an angry mood and have to write something. It's a great way to say everything that you feel so it's all out there, but it never gets sent so it doesn't hurt anyone's feelings. Well, I did that today. And I'll tell you what, it works! I now have no desire to punch them in the face anymore..... If you ever feel SO angry with someone that you just want to cry those mad tears or your glad they don't live close because you're deciding on whether or not to go over and give them a piece of your mind... write a letter :) Works every time!

PS-- Make sure you delete the word document when you're finished... That could be bad news bears otherwise!

Praise To The Man Who Communed With Jehovah

Today in Relief Society, my roomie Lauren gave a lesson on Joseph Smith.... oh.my.good.heck. I cannot put into words how much I love that man! I seriously cannot wait for the day that I get to heaven and I get to give him a great big hug!! It's because of him that I am as happy in life today that I am. He restored our gospel to this Earth and made it possible for the over 14 million members to have happy lives as well! I love Joseph Smith and greatly anticipate the day I get to hug him and tell him thank you!! :) Enjoy!

Until Next Time, "A man filled with the love of God is not content with blessing his family alone, but ranges through the whole world, anxious to bless the whole human race."

Don't Be So Quick To Judge

I had a couple of eye-opening experiences this week that I would love to share with you all. You just have to promise not to judge me for judging in the first place :)

Experience #1- I was sitting in my FCHD class a few minutes early just doing my own thing. Ya know, listening to my iPod, getting my notebook ready to a new page and what not. Soon after, my professor came into the room and started class. I was sitting right next to the door because I have to slip out a few minutes early to get to my next class on time. There are only three seats on the front row that I was sitting and and there was no one next to me but there was an older lady sitting in the third seat. She is a very nice lady and dresses surprisingly trendy for a woman of her age (that has nothing to do with this story, just thought I would share) I started thinking, SWEET! I can have some room since no one is sitting next to me. So I got comfortable just taking my notes when another woman came into the room. She was younger than the first woman but old enough to be a mother, and sat in the chair next to me, which I was bummed about, but quickly got over. She sat down and took her coat off and let's just say that her deodorant wasn't working. Right away I started thinking, "Seriously? Take a shower." While I tried to breathe through  my mouth. She then reached into her bag and pulled out a tattered old notebook. She began flipping through the pages trying to find a blank one among all the scribbled on pages. Page after page was covered in marker scribbles and little drawings that looked like a 3 year old had some fun. I felt overwhelming sadness for thinking what I thought and figured that may she didn't even have enough money to buy a new notebook. I was really beating myself up when she started digging through her bag again, clearly looking for something to write with. She didn't find one in her bag, so she checked her coat pockets, then checked her bag again. I felt terrible for what I had been thinking so I handed her the one I was using and grabbed another pen from my bag.

Experience #2- Kels, Em and I were driving down the road, on our way to Wal-Mart when we noticed a car a little ways ahead of us stopped at a green light. we started saying things like, "wow, really?" and "What is this person doing? they're in our way." and things like that. So we swerved to the lane next to the car and got stopped at a red light. We looked over to the car next to us and the girl in the driver's seat was on the phone sobbing. Kelsie started waving her hands to get her attention and she rolled her window down. Kels asked if she needed help and still sobbing, nodded her head. We pulled the car off to the side of the road and ran back to the intersection. By the time we got there, about four other cars had also stopped to help her out. Loads of boys piled out of the car to help push her to the gas station across the street since that is why she was chillin' in the intersection, her car was completely out of gas. Lucky for us, the boys were there because I'm not sure how effective just the three of us pushing would have been! Once she was at a pump, most of the boys left but Dylan, Nelson and some other of Tara's neighbors stayed with us to make sure that she got some gas in her car and would be alright. Kelsie, Emily and I gave her our numbers in case she needed a friend and told her to call or text us anytime. We found out that she was kicked out of where she was living and had no place to stay. I offered her our apartment since we have an extra bed but she said she was staying with a friend and would figure it out with her parents in the morning. We hugged her and went on our way. she texted us a little later and told us that we made her terrible night just a little bit brighter. We went on our way and haven't heard from her since.

Moral of both of these stories....? Don't judge people before you know what's happening in their lives. That the most cliche thing ever said, but it's completely true!! I learned two great last week that I thought I already knew but hey.. .they say you learn something new everyday :)

Shay Bay Bay!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR SHAY BAY... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! :) :) :) :) :) :)

It's Shaylee K's birthday today and I can't tell you how much I love this girl!! We have been friends for SO long! We grew up together only a street away with Savannah Rose Taylor just across the street from me! You couldn't find one of us with out the other two! We went to camp together and slept in the the tent ALL day and did nothing else! We went to Youth Conference together and danced our booties off! We even got everyone else to dance with us that normally don't dance. We went to EFY together our first year and had a blast! She even put up with me when I got sick and couldn't eat all week! We also like to hide in people's closets after we are done trashing their room, even if it is REALLY SMELLY and about 100 degrees! When high school came along, we each found a different group of friends to hang out with but we had Sundays and YW to catch up with each other! She knows all my secrets and listens to my problems. I know she is just a phone call away whenever I need her... especially when I'm walking home from class and it's pitch black outside and I'm a little sketched out... she'll talk to me the whole way home! She is one of my greatest friends, she is someone I look up to, especially spiritually and she will always and forever be my sister! I love you Shay Bay! Hope your birthday was great! :)

And now for a little reminiscing of our fun times....
